Hyperion Travel was incorporated in March 1994 and started trading at the Lambourn (Valley of the Racehorse) office on April 1st 1994. The company initially focussed on providing travel facilities to those involved in the equine industry, from show jumping through to horse racing.
Amazingly, horses travel a good deal, both by land and by air, and their handlers, trainers, grooms and riders all need to be moved at various times with efficiently co-ordinated travel plans.
The company naturally expanded more broadly into general business travel, especially after 2002 when the founding members of the company withdrew and the new management wished to diversify.
Because we are a compact service company, we deal direct with the traveller and can ensure continuity of the booking as our agents share information. We provide personal service to each passenger or group, with an internal back up to ensure we are always in control of your booking.
We retain a detailed database of each traveller’s preferences which facilitates future bookings and ensuring the passenger gets the service desired.
Two of our staff members within our Hungerford office have been with the company from the outset and bring years of combined experience and industry specific skills to bear in ensuring a smooth booking procedure.
